Last years leaves, photo from last april

#nature #naturephotography #forest #leaves #backlight #backlit #bokeh
A photograph of a section of a small beech tree in backlight. The small branches are still full of golden brown leaves from last year, gently backlit by a late afternoon sun giving them a glowing appearance in contraast to the dark branches they hang from. The branches have several buds that wait for warmer days to burst open with new leaves. The background is a blurry golden bokeh with some hints of green and some dark areas.
