@jaredwhite rewaita is awesome, but is also but a crutch for a walled garden system that is #gnome taking away most if not all #freedom from both developers using GTK as well as users wanting to use GTK-4-based programs. It’s a tragedy and I suppose you don’t know what is possible elsewhere.
@MauriceElliott @fell Well you *could* by adding overrides to the ebuilds you want to declare, but I agree that‘d be much more convoluted than NIX.
It makes more sense imo to seperate config and package installation and use a git repo for dotfiles if you want to.
