Finished my daughter's Halloween costume.

Early 1850's mourning attire.

All made by me,l and drafted by me, including the bonnet, using no commercial commercial patterns.

She is wearing a heavily veiled bonnet that completely obscures her face. The shape of the bonnet under the veil adds to the otherworldly effect. She must likely has a shit eating grin on her face but you'd never know because her face is completely hidden.
