@ErickaSimone back in the mid-90s I worked at a blues club where Clarence Spady was the house band. The keyboards remind me of his band, sounds like a Hammond but doesn’t look like one.

@ErickaSimone That was great! Interesting song structure, not quite a blues, but blues adjacent. And he can play rhythm guitar too, unlike B.B. and Albert, who were more let's say specialized. Soulful voice too. Great talent!

@jredlund so you’re hearing a funk/go-go influenced sound on that track. Go-go being a DC rhythmic style since the 80s. Hes doing blues stuff from the album too.
