New Continent dropped; I’m excited for no reason

The cover of The Continent, issue 257, dated 24 October 2026, is a night-time photograph of a bus loading passengers. A narrow amber banner across the top reads “African Journalism | 24 October 2026 | Issue 257”. The masthead below it is in large cream serif letters over a dark navy sky. The bus fills the left side of the frame. It is pale cream with a VW badge on the grille, and “Go-Go Shuttles”
