They are currently making it impossible for me to schedule my own hysterectomy. Via absolute incompetence and laziness. It has been a week of being ignored. First they scheduled something without my permission, and then canceled without me knowing. Both the hospital and I have been calling for a new date. No one returns the calls.

I literally don’t know what else to do other than to go into the office and have a nervous breakdown.

It’s already hard enough. This is just…. Fucking insane.

Figured it out. Of course the insurance I have doesn’t match the insurance of the hospital they were trying to send me to. So here comes the part where I have to switch this to a whole new doctor.

The catch? The hospital is an upgrade. The 2 surgeries that I’ve had before were done there. It’s my preferred hospital. So it’s working out better. For now.

Wish me luck. And rest. I’m doing this while still part timing at the label and doing school this year. I’m tired.

@ErickaSimone @MrEdgarBass maybe their licensing board? According to Wikipedia, "A professional may have their license revoked if they are not deemed fit to practise, due to reasons including a lack of competence, health reasons, or ethical violations."

Messing around with patients would certainly seem to be an ethical problem to me!

But that's a drag on your energy and well-being that you may decide isn't worth the trouble. This is where the hospital ombudsman might be a great resource.
