🕊️ A ceasefire across a large section of the frontline in southern #Ukraine began at 03:00 Kyiv time on 27 October to unblock Oleshky, a town in the Kherson region temporarily occupied by russia. It holds until 22:59 on 1 November, allowing aid to reach civilians still in Oleshky and preparing their safe passage out.

Official quote card on a dark blue background. At top left, the Ukrainian coat of arms beside the words "Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine". Below, in white text, a statement from Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha: "Ukraine welcomes the humanitarian operation in Oleshky. This is about saving lives. If we see results in Oleshky, this can pave the way for other steps in the peace process — as a confidence-building measure." It is signed "Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine".
