Some days I can't decide what to post for my 365 project. It could be that I've taken a few that I really like or (more often, sadly) that I'm underwhelmed with them and, on the worst days, think they all absolutely suck. 😕 On days like these, I'll send Aled a few options and let him pick. Today I sent Aled a few options and he picked this one... And then I promptly rejected it for being boring. 😆

He always takes it in stride but I felt bad about it (🤏) so I thought that maybe I'll occasionally post one that he likes, even if it's not what I was hoping for.

With that, I present the very first #AledsPick.

My rook buddy for #Birbsday. What a looker, right? This one hangs back on the fence when I come with the nuts. Then it spends so much time trying to chase the jackdaws away, that it often misses out on everything. It's quite fun to watch. I always throw an extra handful, though. 😊

Having seen some beautiful corvids recently from @knighterrant255, @olim@pixelfed.de, and @webidebi@mastodon.social, I thought today was a good day to jump in.
