I put in a little bit of work in the pottery studio today and now the kiln is firing. I finally have a moment to weave! This band is for a friend and pen pal whose favorite colors are yellow and sky blue except I don’t have sky blue yarn, so he’s getting turquoise instead. Hope he likes it. #weaving #fibers #FiberArts

A photo taken from my POV sitting cross legged on the floor weaving with a wooden mini rigid heddle loom. Yellow, turquoise, black and light gray yarn stretches from the chartreuse green ribbon tied around my waist to a table leg that is out of frame. The woven band is clipped with a pink barrette near the ribbon around waist. My hand is holding a portion of the woven band closer to the camera.
