A young tree, possibly a beech, with bright yellow leaves. It is about 20 feet high and was planted next to a running trail made of dry, compacted, dirt in a park here in Toronto. The overhead sky is bright blue which complements its leaves beautifully. You can see a few skyscrapers in the distance as well as several larger trees that are still almost completely green. The leaves at the top branches of the tree are sparse because many have begun to fall, but the middle and bottom of the tree are still numerous.

From left to right, there is a lighter green tree whose leaves have a light yellow tinge to them just barely beginning, a brilliant red maple tree in all its autumn glory, and a dark green tree that hasn’t changed at all yet and that look like a possible evergreen tree to me.

A wholesome moment from Toronto for you all.

Today there was a medium-sized, brown and white dog on an elevator I took who went around to everyone to see if they’d pet her.

That sweet dog had a 100% success rate at getting all four of us to pet her.

(Yes, her human said it was okay.)
