and it’s why in New York State, it is enshrined in our state constitution everybody eligible has a right to vote; and that the state has to make sure everybody does.
so, for example, in #NYS you register once. if your address changes, you just tell the board of elections to update your info. YET, if you do move and forget to change your address, you have a right to an affidavit ballot.
Mississippi is one of the original Confederacy (slavery defending) states.
