someone mansplaining to me how much it costs to make indie games as if i don't know: Developing an indie game generally costs $10,000 to 2,000,000. In the broader commercial market, the average budget for a polished, team-built indie project sits between $50,000 and $500,000. The defining factor is whether you measure "cash spent" or include the developer’s unpaid labor as an opportunity cost. Still going to complain about a solo indie developer using AI to make a game and release it for very little or free?
