Was wondering about the state of Ivory and its liquid glass update.

Seems like it’s going to be a big one. Though, as quoted in this thread will not come this year, but whenever it is ready. 🥲

@dtm @tchambers Because it was originally built well over 10 years ago and so much has changed since then. It’s not just the design. The UX and the architecture behind it all is getting a much-needed overhaul and improvement. It’s going to be so much better, we can promise that.

@alexkaessner @ivory bugs me the attitude of “I’m paying a subscription so expect regular updates”. What I expect when paying a subscription is that the app keeps working. Not every app needs to be constantly updated 😤

@keir For me it’s not about that I pay. I use Ivory so many times a day that of course I want such an important app to feel modern and integrated into the latest OS design.

More so I’m just really curious what kind of UI/UX delight the Tapbot guys will bring to the liquid glass world. As they always do.
