Three crows sitting on metal cover of a stone chimney. Sky above filled with gray clouds. Color photo feels monochromatic and patient as we wait for storm to clear

Welcoming the harvest, land, and ancestors. May we take care of each other through the darker half of the year.

Samhain

Many reddish brown sunflower seeds piled in shape of heart, resting in a stainless steel bowl. A few dried sunflower petals among the seeds and chaff. Harvest from 2024.

POV looking into a mirror reflecting the edge of a glass light cover and an ordinary light bulb. The speckles in the light bulb glass surrounded by swirls on shade is like gazing into the cosmos

An orange sunset over silhouettes of trees and roofs. The orange is topped by a storm cloud. Hints of sunbeams radiate up into a soft blue twilight above

A white cloud in loose shape of heart with a wisp connecting it to a larger cloud bringing in storm. A bit of blue sky, the last for a few days

While at my local nursery, this monarch wing fluttered down before me, landing at my feet 馃А

A butterfly wing resting on asphalt. It's upside down and in a line of shade from a nearby pole.
