@marcoarment huh. I just left it lying on the table for about 10 minutes and then onboarding started.
@marcoarment it only shows me a spinner on my iPad Air. Seems to work fine on my iPhone
@salocin Anything unusual about your iCloud setup? That’s the behavior of trying to connect to CloudKit and it taking… a while.
@marcoarment When you said your had made your own pencil engine, I thought it was your propensity to reinvent wheels to have code control. But it is by far the best pencil feel I have had in any app. It’s like you just deleted latency. Beats Notability, GoodNotes and PencilKit by a country mile. Bravo!

@marcoarment @Colinnapier I’m thinking about ditching PencilKit in favor of a custom solution. Since you've already been through this, do you have any recommendations? The drawing experience in Fineliner is truly phenomenal!
@lucamegh @Colinnapier Thank you! All I can say is that it’s trickier than I expected, but I figured it out, and it was totally worth it.
@marcoarment yay, congrats!! Excited to try a good note-taking app that doesn’t have a million extraneous features I don’t need. I’m a Procreate power user and it’s certainly got all the art stuff I need… but I love writing and haven’t found a good note-taking app that feels right yet.
Do you have a dedicated place to send any bug reports? I have a crashing issue I wanted to share ☺️
@bethaburrito If it’s tap-and-hold on a page in the Pages & Settings screen, that’ll be fixed in the next update!

@marcoarment loving the app! A blank page option would be awesome! My girlfriend only uses notebooks with no lines and they are hard to find.
