I try not to over-react to the Internet's Outrages Of The Day, but it should be instantly disqualifying for a CEO of a company that sells reliability and security to tell employees that careful testing is "loser thinking". And if not, it should instantly disqualify that company's products from your consideration.

What the hell, Proton?

Disclaimer: I'm not a Proton customer, and I guess that's not likely to change any time soon.

@mattblaze there had already been signs that Proton was selling more the *perception* of security than security itself (à la Telegram, shall we say) but that was definitely A Way to go public about it.

@mattblaze Testing culture is a security control in its own right. At Prynoid we compare what a product says with what it does on the wire, and the gap is usually found only by careful, repeatable testing. Skipping that step moves risk onto the customer.
