I’ve been watching Democratic politicians who move toward Republican Fascism. It isn’t only the flaming example of Haley Stevens. I have seen it at the state and local level too.
It is repulsive and can be demoralizing. Watching the union of cowardice and fascism really exposes one to the basest aspects of humanity. 1/
The antidote is to redouble one’s focus politicians and others who are doing the opposite, showing bravery and integrity as they fight Republican Fascism. Here’s who I am thinking about today. 2/

@heidilifeldman It's a bit old but I will always give props to Chris Van Hollen for visiting Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. No one else did. At least someone understands what it means to be an American Senator.
