FrAInkenstein. Cartoon (in the spirit of Halloween) for Dutch newspaper Trouw.

#AIslop #ArtificialIntelligence #Frankenstein

Cartoon showing a large transparent dome shaped like a brain, packed with human creative works: framed paintings, a violin, an acoustic guitar, a stack of books and an artist's palette with brushes. Tubes run from this dome down into the heads of gaunt near-naked people strapped to inclined slabs in rows, sucking the contents from their brains. In the center a robot lies on a large slab — resembling Frankenstein's monster built from machinery. His mouth is connected to the dome, consuming humanity's creative work. A large pipe at the bottom end of the robot spews forth a flood of brown slush. At the lower right, three scientists in lab coats work a control console bearing the sign 'FRAINKENSTEIN TECHNOLOGIES'. One scientist throws his arms up beside a speech bubble reading 'IT'S ALIVE!'.

COP31 is coming up. This is the cartoon I did last year for COP30, and the only thing I'd need to change is the distance to Climate Hell...

#COP31 #ClimateEmergency #ClimateCrisis #ClimateHell

Cartoon showing people on a bus sitting with headphones on and all looking at their phones. The phone displays show ‘AI cat videos’, ‘Stupid sh#t’ and ‘Brainrot’ with like buttons underneath. A display with the bus route shows the stops: COP30, COP31, COP32, COP33, Climate hell. Outside the landscape is rushing by, changing from green to brown with skulls and an animal skeleton. A weathered sign reads ‘CLIMATE HELL 34’.

The Church of Infinite Greed. Cartoon for Dutch newspaper Trouw.

#greed #money #nature #environment

Satirical cartoon showing the cross-section of the 'Church of Infinite Greed', where a well-dressed congregation raises its hands to a money-worshiping preacher, while the space beneath the floor is packed with toxic waste and dead animals.
