Please share with all your #Pennsylvania friends with mail-in ballots: Ballots must be RECEIVED by your county election board by Election Day. THE POSTMARK DOES NOT COUNT. Don't consider USPS at this point.

Use the list to find a drop box in your county: pa.gov/agencies/vote/voter-sup

Every voter must place only their own ballot in the box.

If you try to turn your mail-in ballot at your polling place on Election Day, you may be directed to drive to a drop box or fill out a fresh ballot (see below).

A drop-box might be better for some voters early in the day for some mail-in voters who are COVID-conscious (for example), but in general: go to your polling location if you've not voted already on election day. The poll workers _will_ find some way for you to vote.

PA judge of elections here! Your guidance about election day mail-in ballots is technically true but lacks nuance and may mislead people. Poll workers are trained in a process by which voters who requested mail-in ballots can surrender them to receive a regular in-person-voting ballot. So all this to say: if you're reading this on election day and you still have your mail-in ballot (whether or not you've marked it), please DO go to your assigned location and ask for the folks working there to accept your surrendered mail-in ballot.

@sovietfish Almost all poll workers will try to find some way for you to vote. A very small handful are confident in their misinformation around first-time voters and cause issues.

@vees yeah and with them you just insist for them to call the county, they'll get set straight.

A lot of people all have to be wrong at the same time for you to get turned away at the polls. If they don't even give you a provisional ballot then everyone at that voting location done f'd up

"Every voter must place only their own ballot in the box."

I'm sorry, what?

Is this your opinion, or PA law?

Thanks. Seems like yet another way to restrict people from voting.

No such restrictions in WA, where I am. You may certainly drop off ballots for your elderly and disabled family and friends here.
