Fall 2026 might become my benchmark for comparing Falls. It keeps giving. And I keep taking.
#FallColors

A large tree still about half full of yellow leaves, with the other half on the ground around it, with the sun behind casting the long shadow of the trunk towards the camera. Looking straight up into tree tops, one bare at the top of the frame, one at the right full of bright orange leaves, another at the left full of bright yellow leaves. The orange one seems to be reaching to touch the yellow one, like the creation of maple in the sis-tree chapel. A vibrant red and orange maple leaf on the ground, on top of various yellow and brown leaves. The sun is hitting the red-orange one, making it glow.

@dillyd @Blanche I was in Montreal 10 days ago - it was indeed rather pretty. Spent the day with friends so I only took the standard tourist pics but there was definitely opportunity for more if I had more time!

Montreal city centre seen from Mount Royal. Blue sky with a few clouds on top, dense city in the center with taller skyscrapers to the right and a bit of river to the left, tree with a bit of autumn colors to the bottom left. A tree from below, yellow leaves in the sunlight, blue sky behind.
