Knit myself a little friend today.

Photo of a hand-knit pumpkin made from bulky, golden-y orange wool using a wide-wale rib stitch and a surprisingly thick cinnamon stick for a stem. The pleasantly squat little pumpkin (about the size of a smooshed volleyball) is sitting on a weather-beaten wooden deck railing against a backdrop of gold and russet maple leaves and stubbornly green, though yellowing, curly willow leaves.

I'm still thinking about this adorable pumpkin. I favorited and boosted already but had to come back to comment, too. It's so lovely.
