There is no “stereotype” when 97% of documented rapes in America are at the hands of a man. Predominantly WHITE men. Some ARE IN PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE.

These locker rooms aren’t in a field somewhere formed by the erosion of wind and rain; they’re in buildings owned by institutions that often as not have well earned track records of enabling abusers and covering up sexual assault. I don’t know how many women out there hate men per-se, but I know plenty that hate the institutions we’ve create that shelter and empower the worst behaviours of the worst of us, and that sure seems like a reasonable way to feel.

I started in a weird spot in that conversation because I was emotional that they let a trans woman die and that none of this could have prevented any of MY rapes.
