Typed "ghost birds" in my photo search on a whim and pulled the first several results together:

I miss the Nevada Day Parade in Carson City. Nevada was admitted to the Union on October 31, 1864. So on Halloween each year Nevadans enjoyed a big Nevada Day celebration parade as well! It was so much fun to wander around the staging area taking photos. Everyone was milling around having a great time and they didn't mind you taking pictures of them.

An old 1800’s cemetery deep in the woods. One of those where the names on the headstones are the names on all the local roads.

A very old cemetery with a mixture of large intact headstones and others in various states of disarray. It is remote but the grounds are still mowed a few times a year. Sometimes there are flowers left on some of the old gravesites. The trees surrounding them are fall colors.
