Looking up into a tulip tree with its tulip shaped leaves, you could be blinded by the sunlight reflected off the leaves, which glow in shades of amber, gold, yellow and orange.

It took a bit of a self-pep talk, but I got myself out for a long walk to see more yellow trees. This one is waiting for the sunlight to shift onto it. I rewarded myself with a small cup of mocha from a cafe by the river.

I painted this #yarn! With diluted fabric paint. It's a little stiff and gained a lot of volume, but I'm really delighted and learned so much for next time.

@dillyd @Blanche I was in Montreal 10 days ago - it was indeed rather pretty. Spent the day with friends so I only took the standard tourist pics but there was definitely opportunity for more if I had more time!

I love the color of this tree. Took pictures of it on the way in and on the way out. Such a vibrant red, it really seemed to glow in the sunlight in a way I couldn’t seem to capture.
